Create Tenants
We will walk through the initial steps of getting started using Login 3.0 to familiarize you with its key concepts. We will use the company Example-Co to help describe some of the steps involved.
Set up a Login 3.0 account
If you haven't already, contact the UPBOND team to request the creation of a Login 3.0 account. Unlike other services, Login 3.0 does not have a self-service dashboard. Instead, you will need to work directly with the UPBOND team to configure your tenant.
Create a tenant and domain
Once your account is created, the UPBOND team will assist you in creating a tenant. Everything starts with a Login 3.0 tenant. This is where your use of Login 3.0 is configured, and where assets like applications, connections, and user profiles are defined, managed, and stored. Since Login 3.0 doesn’t offer a dashboard, tenant configurations must be coordinated with the UPBOND team.
Custom domains
To provide a seamless and secure user experience, we recommend using a custom domain, such as example-co.com
, in production environments. The UPBOND team will assist in setting up and managing custom domain certificates.
What's next
Register applications: After setting up your account and tenant, the UPBOND team will help you register your applications. Each application that uses Login 3.0 must be registered for authentication and authorization purposes.
Set up connections: The UPBOND team will configure connections to identity providers, such as Google or Facebook, ensuring a seamless login experience for your users.
Extend Login 3.0's functionality
Login 3.0 offers customization options, but these must be implemented with the assistance of the UPBOND team. Current customization includes:
Custom login flows
Custom Scopes and Claims
For additional functionalities or integrations, please consult with the UPBOND team directly.
